These are descriptions of the three areas of activity (listed by Special Item Number, or SIN) where D-M can now offer services to Federal agencies.

51 508 – Litigation Support Services (LSS). Litigation Support Services cover a full range of services:

• Document Preparation and Reassembly
• Document Imaging and Coding
• Document Digitizing (Imaging)
• Database Development and Management
• Preparing Customized Database and Image Files
• Preparing and Assisting in Electronic and Multimedia Courtroom Presentations
• Producing High-Volume Image Prints (Blowbacks)
• Providing Equipment and Software Used in Courtroom Presentations

Litigation Support Services also includes software and systems support. These items may be bundled or unbundled by ordering agencies. Items may be priced as a unit consisting of sub-items, combination of items, or individually. An offer does not have to be made on all sub-items to be eligible for award; however, unbundled items must be related to LSS to be considered for award. D-M offers these services nationally.

51 506 – Document Conversion Services (DCS). Document Conversion Services convert original paper documents, data, or graphics into digital data and transfers it to new media and formats for use in a document imaging and storage system. These services may include:

• Back file and Day Forward Conversion
• Data Entry
• State-of-the Art Scanning (Imaging)
• Document Indexing (Coding)
• Hyperlinking Images and Database Records
• Web Hosting
• Delivery of Products on Media of Choice
• Producing Blowbacks (Prints) of Images
• Handling Classified and Non-Classified Documents

DCS is the conversion of a document’s text and graphic content into digital data, which is then converted to a selected format and/or output media for use in a database, distribution, and / or storage system. D-M offers these services nationally.

51 503 – Education and Training Support Services (ETSS). Educational and Training Support Services provide the customer with operational knowledge of products andx/or services offered under this schedule. D-M offers these services nationally.
