Scanning documents and "burning" the resulting image files onto CDs vastly reduces the amount of storage space required and makes the images more readily available. Four to six boxes of documents can be scanned and copied onto a single CD, which can be copied and distributed to partners across the country. The CD can be given to document entry service bureaus, such as D-M, or used to blow back document images if printed pages are required.

CDs can be copied to your computer and accessed by multiple users simultaneously. Software packages such as Concordance or CIS-FT can display document images when users perform searches or browse databases. Searches can be performed and images printed right in the courtroom.

Scanning and CD-ROM production save both time and money while simplifying the entire document retrieval process.

D-M maintains an archive copy of CDs burned for clients. If you need a copy of a previously created CD, we will make as many copies as you need. If you prefer, we will produce paper copies of the documents on the CD-ROM.
