When preparing for trial, D-M's witness binders are an invaluable tool. We assemble binders containing all of the relevant information about specific witnesses in the case. By performing specialized searches on indexed records in a database, we gather all documents to, from, or mentioning the witness. Customized reports then demonstrate a correspondence history, perhaps focusing on contract issues involving the witness, or demonstrate a witness having knowledge of, or involvement in, a particular relevant issue or event.

A search on full text depositions will yield all references to one witness made by other witnesses in their testimony. A search can also target a witness' testimony regarding a specific issue or event, or even identify key exhibits from previous testimony.

The reports listing the results of these searches are then combined with all other relevant witness documentation into binders. These witness binders, designed to our clients' specifications, are used as research tools in preparation for deposition or trial. They can also be used as quick references during trial, accessed alone or in conjunction with online searches in the courtroom.
